Currently, 12 Days of Christmas and a Giveaway!

Thank goodness for Farley.

Listening: I know I said it last month, but if you haven’t checked out Spotify you are missing out. It’s seriously Pandora on steroids. As long as I’m working on my computer, I can listen to whatever I want. I love making playlists and my “Joy to the World” list is my current fave.

Loving: That man of mine. My sweet boy made me pancakes last Saturday and eggs this past weekend. I am a lucky girl. He cooks dinner occasionally, but never breakfast. I don’t know what’s gotten into him, but I like it!

Thinking: I am one of four girls. I love my sisters. I love when we have those rare moments when it’s “just us” again. I get to have one of those moments this weekend. But I can’t say much more about it. My mother never reads this blog. Heck, she hardly ever checks her Facebook. But I don’t want to spoil the surprise. However, I will promise to show you evidence of our “moment” later this month. Deal? Deal.

Wanting: I can hardly wait. The hubs has agreed that it is time for me to get a new laptop. He’s even agreed to a Mac. HOLY MOLEY, people! Now, I know I just finished bragging on him… however, the man is cheap! Cheap, cheap, cheap! He will have a stroke if I spend more than $75 at the grocery store, but he has agreed to a Mac laptop! (Do you hear the angels singing, or is it just me?)

Needing: I am in serious need of a daily devotional. Something I can read before the bell rings and the “thundering herd” comes tumbling in. I am open to all suggestions. If you have a book you love, please let me know about it in the comments below.

R.A.K.: My sweet friend L has recently committed herself to a relationship with Christ. My heart is rejoicing. Her excitement for Jesus inspires me to seek Him more, and I want to encourage her as well. Recently, I had the opportunity to visit Passion City Church and they had Matt Redman’s new CD on sale. I picked up one for myself, my sister J and sweet friend L.

(BTW – if you live in the Atlanta area and you haven’t made it over to Passion City, you are missing out. As I told my mama, “If Passion Worship is 1/100th of what it will be like in heaven, I can’t wait to get there.” Don’t get me wrong, I love my church close by – but I also try to visit Passion about once a month. It’s amazing.)
