I’m sharing my “4-squares” that I use whenever I show a movie to my kiddos. We are blessed to have subscriptions to Discovery Streaming, BookFlix, BrainPop and BrainPop Jr. – not to mention a resource room full of videos our media specialist works hard to align with our standards.
I want the times we watch movies to be meaningful, so we almost always fill out one of these 4-squares afterwards. I’ve included a “fiction” and a “nonfiction” version. Our class discussions are always richer when we use these, and you can also collect student responses on a class anchor chart to have a lasting reminder of what they learned.
I hope this makes up for the delay! ๐
Happy Thursday!
