So I’ve been searching the internet all afternoon looking for a 3rd grade listening center form. Yeah – those don’t exist. ๐ I did find a couple that helped me put this one together.
Our Response to Literature standards emphasize forming and supporting an opinion about a text so I wanted to incorporate some of that in the response. I have a very *active* group this year and they needed something to hold them accountable for this piece of our center rotation. I’ll model this tomorrow, so wish me luck!

This is a cute form. Thanks for the freebie! I think my favorite part is that you are asking your kiddos to tell WHY they liked their favorite part. I think that if we can get them doing this with story that they hear they will be more inclined to do this (and better at it) with books that they independently read. Thanks again!!!
